Willem S. Jones
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa
- Since 2001
- English, Zulu
For 25 years I've run the cricket program at Polokwane Youth Club in Polokwane. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Willem
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Willem: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
