Teacher at Hillcrest Academy, loves biology

I teach biology at Hillcrest Academy in Johannesburg since 1993. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Willem
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Willem: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
