Willem R. Lombard

Writer focused on sports writing, Soweto

  • 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Greenfield Journal
  • 2012 to 2023
  • English, Zulu
I write sports writing. My work has appeared in Greenfield Journal and a few places that have long since closed. I run a small writing group that meets every second Thursday. I like to keep things simple and honest. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Willem

Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
