Willem Marcel De Wit
Athletics and fitness coach, Haarlem
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Haarlem Swimming Club
- Since 1994
- Dutch, Spanish
I've coached athletics at Haarlem Swimming Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Willem
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Willem: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
