I've spent 26 years as a lecturer in computer science at Amsterdam State University in Amsterdam. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Willem: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
