For 13 years I ran the cricket program at Johannesburg Acacia Swimming Club in Johannesburg. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Willem
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Willem: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
