I've been a nurse for 31 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Sunrise Maternity Hospital in Gliwice. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
