I coached rowing at Westbrook Sports Club from 1991 to 2009. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Wendy
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Wendy: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
