I'm a baseball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 230 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Wellington
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
