Wellington José Medeiros

Painter, potter and teacher at The Salvador Studio

  • 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
  • 1993 to 2025
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes street art. My first show was in 1993 at The Salvador Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I run most mornings. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
