I taught French at Sunrise Boys' School in Belo Horizonte from 1979 to 1998. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Wellington: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
