Wekesa Ouma Mbwambo
Piano player and teacher in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Ensemble
- Since 1980
- English
I play piano and violin. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Wekesa: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at Kasarani Ensemble. Greetings from Seville.
