Wekesa Mwende Mwende
Choir direction player and teacher in Arusha
- 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
- Arusha Quartet
- 1993 to 2018
- English, Swahili
I play choir direction and brass band. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Wekesa
I wrote my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Wekesa: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
