Wekesa Musyoka Kiptoo
Design mentor, Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa Foundation
- 2002 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,180 people through Mombasa Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Wekesa
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Wekesa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
