Wekesa Githinji Maina
Music and art teacher, Jinja
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Jinja Public School
- Since 2015

Jinja Public School is my second home. I teach music there since 2015, mostly Grade 11.
I've run the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Wekesa
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Wekesa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me music in 2017 at Jinja Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
