For eleven years I have been the history teacher at Mwanza Boys' School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Wekesa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Wekesa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
