Wei Zhu

Art teacher at Kingsway Public School, Since 2006

🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
Kingsway Public School
Since 2006
English, Mandarin

I teach art at Kingsway Public School in Oakland since 2006. Most days I teach primary school children, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Wei

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

Subjects taught

Art Economics

What gifts mean to Wei: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
