I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,850 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Wegayehu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Wegayehu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me economics in 2013 at Ashford Middle School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Greetings from Jacksonville.
