Wayne N. Taylor
Chess and fitness coach, Liverpool
- 🇬🇧 Liverpool, England, United Kingdom
- Since 1981
- English, French
I've coached chess at Starlight Athletic Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Wayne
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Wayne: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
