Wayne H. Moodley

Sitar player and teacher in Soweto

  • 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Fairview Orchestra
  • 1983 to 2017
  • English, Afrikaans
I've played sitar from 1983 to 2017, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Wayne

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Wayne: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
