Wayne H. Jimenez
23 years teaching economics in Mississauga
- 🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
- Silverlake Academy
- 2004 to 2025
- English
For 21 years I was the economics teacher at Silverlake Academy. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Wayne
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Wayne: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
