I coached athletics at Laredo Boxing Gym from 1986 to 2022. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Wayne
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Wayne: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1989. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Nottingham.
