I've been a nurse for 13 years, most of them in mental health at Orchid Maternity Hospital in Entebbe. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
