Waweru Macharia Kigozi
Caregiver and nurse, Liberty University Hospital
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Liberty University Hospital
- 2010 to 2020
- English, Swahili
I'm a surgery nurse. I started at Liberty University Hospital, moved around a little and found my home in Kampala.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Waweru
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Waweru: I'd put gifts toward a training course in palliative care.
