Helping people break into trades
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- Bayview Youth Network
- Since 2008
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 520 people through Bayview Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Waweru: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
