For 39 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Surabaya Boys' School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Wawan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Wawan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
