Waseem Zain Javed
Carpentry for nine years in Karachi
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- Karachi Shop
- 2013 to 2022
- English, Punjabi
I've worked in carpentry from 2013 to 2022. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 380 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Waseem
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Waseem: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
