For 22 years I was the special education teacher at Stonebridge Middle School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Wasantha
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Wasantha: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me special education in 2021 at Stonebridge Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
