Waqas Omer Mughal
Professor of computer science, Starlight College
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Starlight College
- 1984 to 1996
- English, Punjabi
My subject is computer science, and for twelve years I got to share it with undergraduates at Starlight College.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Waqas
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Waqas: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
