Helping people break into trades
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Highland Learning Hub
- Since 1986
- English
For 40 years I've mentored people in trades and finance. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Wanjiru
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Wanjiru: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
