I teach social studies at Orchid Girls' School in Kisumu since 1990. Most days I teach teenagers, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Wanjiru: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
