I taught design and technology at Nairobi Boys' School in Nairobi from 2013 to 2021. Most days I taught Year 9, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
