Wanjiru Chebet Wekesa
Teacher at Gateway Middle School, loves accounting
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Gateway Middle School
- 1984 to 2010
- English, Swahili
For 26 years I was the accounting teacher at Gateway Middle School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Wanjiru
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Wanjiru: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
