Wanjiru Byaruhanga
Watercolor artist in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Pottery
- 1987 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1987 at Kampala Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Kampala Pottery, which keeps me honest.
More about Wanjiru
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Wanjiru: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
