Wanjiru Aisha Rashidi
Teacher at Kinondoni Public School, loves religious studies
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Kinondoni Public School
- Since 1994
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Wanjiru
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me religious studies in 1999 at Kinondoni Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
