Wanjiru Aisha Macharia

Physics teacher at Atlas Grammar School, Since 1983

  • 🇺🇬 Entebbe, Central Region, Uganda
  • Atlas Grammar School
  • Since 1983
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 43 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 2,370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Wanjiru

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
