I teach early years and chemistry at Kasarani Primary School, Kasarani. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Wangari
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Wangari: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
