Wangari Florence Ouma
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
- Gateway Youth Club
- Since 2017
- English, Swahili
For nine years I've run the rowing program at Gateway Youth Club in Eldoret. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Wangari: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
