Wangari Faith Odhiambo
Oil painting and textiles artist
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Old Summit Art Collective
- Since 2018
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2018 at Old Summit Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Wangari
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Wangari: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
