For 19 years I've run the baseball program at Embakasi Holy Cross Swimming Club in Embakasi. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Wangari
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Wangari: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
