Helping people break into design
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Youth Network
- 2011 to 2025
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 770 people through Nairobi Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Wambui
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Wambui: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
