Wambui Caroline Hamisi
Watercolor artist in Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Old Mombasa Gallery
- Since 1999
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1999 at Old Mombasa Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I fix old bicycles.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Wambui
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Wambui: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
