For 34 years I was the social studies teacher at Los Angeles Girls' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Walter
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
