Walter Michael Winkler

Volunteer mentor with Beacon Foundation

  • 🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany
  • Beacon Foundation
  • Since 1988
  • German, Spanish
For 38 years I've mentored people in teaching and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once. I'm still learning every day.

More about Walter

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
