Walter M. Cunningham
Pottery for 47 years in Newcastle upon Tyne
- 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
- Since 1979
- English
I've worked in pottery since 1979. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,550 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
More about Walter
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Walter: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
