Walker N. Bridges
Hockey coach, Sacramento Youth Club
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Youth Club
- Since 1985
- English
For 41 years I've run the hockey program at Sacramento Youth Club in Sacramento. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Walker
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

I still think about that terrible school play. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Zaria.
