I play tabla and classical. I started in 2008 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Walid
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Walid: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
