Walid Adel Rahman
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇦 Salé, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Morocco
- Old Harmony Trades Guild
- 1993 to 2005
- English, Arabic
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1993 in Salé and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Walid: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
