Wagner Mendes
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
- Little Gateway Repairs
- 2012 to 2022
- English
I've worked in auto repair from 2012 to 2022. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 270 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Wagner
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Wagner: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
