I coached dance at Central Athletic Club from 1994 to 2017. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Wagner
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Wagner: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
